Master Ferkile

Founder and Head Ferkile’s Taekwondo, Master Ferkile has been practicing the art of traditional Taekwondo for over 40 years. Currently holding a Kukkiwon 6th Degree Black Belt, Master Ferkile earned his 1st Degree Black Belt in 1979 in the city of Scranton, Pennsylvania. Shortly after in 1985, he established Ferkile’s Taekwondo in St. Petersburg, Florida, where numerous students have grown and prospered under his adept methods. To date, Master Ferkile has awarded over 60 Black Belts to well-deserving students, many of which remain with Ferkile’s Taekwondo to assist in teaching classes. Along with teaching the traditional aspects of Taekwondo in the Do Jang, Master Ferkile has an extensive history with the Olympic style Taekwondo. He has coached, competed, and medaled at many State, National, and International Championships. A numerous amount of his students has also gone on to Compete and Medal at countless State, National, and International Championships under the Ferkile’s Taekwondo Banner. This includes sending two students to train at the Olympic Training center in Colorado Springs and Represent the United States as national team members. Master Ferkile prides himself on the atmosphere of respect and community his teaching creates, and as a result a large number of his students have gone on to lead successful lives.
