ABOUT FERKILE’S TAEKWONDO

Heart.jpg

Established in 1985 in the city of Saint Petersburg, Florida. Ferkile’s Taekwondo was created to teach the sport and discipline of the traditional martial art Taekwondo to students of all ages and skill levels. For over 40 years, Master Ferkile has instructed countless students in the art of Taekwondo, as well coaching numerous students to state & national championships.

Master Ferkile and his team of dedicated instructors work diligently with each student to develop the necessary skills to advance within the art of Taekwondo. Classes vary from week to week and incorporate several elements of martial arts, which include physical fitness, self-defense, sparring techniques, Poomsae, and more. Throughout the year, students may also participate in outdoor or beach classes, competitions, and appropriate belt tests.

At Ferkile’s Taekwondo, you or
your child will always feel like part of our Ferkile’s family and will receive the necessary support to succeed. Classes are offered at Shore Acres Recreation Center for a very economical monthly fee; with the first week of classes offered free of charge! Parents are also always welcome to attend and observe.

If you’re new to Taekwondo, these basics will get you started on the road to success.

The world of martial arts encompasses a multitude of techniques and methods, each with a unique style and discipline. We happen to think Taekwondo is superior due to its nature, and the wealth of knowledge and skill it provides its students with.

Have you been considering enrolling your child or yourself but are feeling tentative? We invite you to attend and observe a class anytime you like, and as previously mentioned, your first week of classes will be FREE of charge to allow you to determine whether Taekwondo is for you. At Ferkile’s Taekwondo, we take pride in properly and appropriately sculpting our students for success, and one thing you will notice upon participation or observation is that no two classes are the same. In one class you may find yourself working on self-defense techniques, and the next you may be practicing Poomsae, or performing kicking exercises and focusing on cardio work.

Ferkile’s Taekwondo is dedicated help develop self-confidence, discipline, and self-control in all of our students, by helping them set, reach, and achieve their goals. Each student will be provided with the support and guidance to prosper within and beyond the walls of the Do Jang.
